Q1 2019 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Bond County?

There were nine offenders released on parole during the first quarter that live in Bond County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by South Central Reporter.

The data shows that six men and three women were released in Bond County. The median age of the parolees was 40. The youngest parolee was a 27-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving one or more weapons in 2017, and the oldest was a 54-year-old woman sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2018.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Eric C. Horn. He was convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2014 when he was 46 years old. He is now 51.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the first quarter in each Bond County municipality.
