Q1 2019 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Clinton County?

There were five offenders released on parole during the first quarter that live in Clinton County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by South Central Reporter.

The data shows that all of the released offenders in Clinton County were men. The median age of the parolees was 33. The youngest parolee was a 21-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2017, and the oldest was a 47-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2018.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Jermaine Jones. He was convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2016 when he was 33 years old. He is now 36.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the first quarter in each Clinton County municipality.
