There was one offender released on parole during the first quarter living near Illinois zip code 62252, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by South Central Reporter.

The data shows that the man was released in the Vandalia zip code. The 26-year-old parolee wasn't a veteran.

He was sentenced to 3 years in prison for a crime involving alcohol in 2015 when he was 21 years old.
