There was one offender released on parole during the first quarter living near Illinois zip code 62293, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by South Central Reporter.

The data shows that the man was released in the Taylorville zip code. The 33-year-old parolee wasn't a veteran.

He was sentenced to 8 years in prison for a property crime in 2013 when he was 26 years old.
