There was one offender released on parole during the second quarter living near Illinois zip code 62093, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by South Central Reporter.

The data shows that the man was released in the Taylorville zip code. The 35-year-old parolee wasn't a veteran.

He was sentenced to 9 years in prison for a sex crime in 2011 when he was 27 years old.
