There was one offender released on parole during the fourth quarter living near Illinois zip code 62230, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by South Central Reporter.

The data shows that the man was released in the Taylorville zip code. The 60-year-old parolee wasn't a veteran.

He was sentenced to 4 years in prison for a crime involving alcohol in 2018 when he was 60 years old.
