There was one offender released on parole during the first quarter living near Illinois zip code 62284, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by South Central Reporter.

The data shows that the man was released in the Shawnee zip code. The 37-year-old parolee wasn't a veteran.

He was sentenced to 3 years in prison for a financial crime or fraud in 2016 when he was 34 years old.
