White City home prices fall in 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in 2017 in White City fell by $5,000 while total sales increased by 33.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2017, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $50,000 - a 9.1% decrease over the $55,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were three homes sold in White City in 2016.

The median sales tax in White City for 2017 was $683. In 2016, the median sales tax was $797. This marks an decrease of 14.4%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.4%.
