Lake Ka-Ho home prices rise in the second half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2017 in Lake Ka-Ho rose by $25,250 while total sales decreased by 60%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2017, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $48,750 - a 107.4% increase over the $23,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were five homes sold in Lake Ka-Ho in the second half of 2016.

The median sales tax in Lake Ka-Ho for 2017 was $378. In 2016, the median sales tax was $370. This marks an increase of 2.2%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 0.8%.
