Irvington Community Consolidated School District 11 Board of Education met Sept. 23.

The Irvington Grade School Board met in Regular session on September 23, 2019. Present for the meeting were Supt. David Schulte, Sandra Neabuhr, Gera Sims, Tabatha Jentsch, Denise Thurman, Janice Tiemann, Whitney Mayoral, Mr. Elms, and Ms. Wright.
A motion was made by Tiemann and seconded by Thurman the Regular Meeting and Executive session and Special meeting on August 19 and September 6, 2019 be approved as presented. Motion passed 6-0.
A motion was made by Jentsch and seconded by Thurman that the Treasurer’s report be approved as presented. Motion passed 6-0.
A motion was made by Mayoral and seconded by Jentsch that the bills for the month of September be approved. Motion passed 6-0.
A motion was made by Jentsch and seconded by Tiemann to approve the Superintendents report as presented. Motion passed 6-0.
A motion was made by Tiemann and seconded by Thurman that the first reading on policy updates be approved. Motion passed 6-0.
A motion was made by Mayoral and seconded by Thurman that the proposal from Security Alarm for camera and cellular updates be approved for $3,000.00 and $90.00 monthly charge. Motion passed 6-0.
A motion was made by Thurman and seconded by Jentsch that eh FY19 audit be approved as presented. Motion passed 6-0.
A motion was made by Mayoral and seconded by Thurman that we convene into Executive Session for the purpose of discussion of personnel issues. Motion passed 6-0.
A motion was made by Tiemann and seconded by Mayoral to return to open session. Motion passed 6-0.
A motion was made by Mayoral and seconded by Thurman that Abbey Holtkamp be approved as Volleyball coach and to compensate $1000.00 for the season. Motion passed 6-0.
A motion was made by Thurman and seconded by Jentsch that the meeting be adjourned. Motion passed 6-0.
