The regular meeting of the Board of Education of Carlyle Community Unit School District No. 1 was held in the library at Carlyle High School, Carlyle, IL on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at 6:30 p.m.
President Aaron Heinzmann presided over the meeting and called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m
ROLL CALL
Board Members present: Alexander, Brammeier, Diękemper, Heinzmann, Kampwerth, Perez, Rensing Board Members absent: none
Administrators present at roll call: Superintendent Dustin Bilbruck, GS Principal Kerrick Rahm, HS Principal Jered Weh, HS Assistant Principal Darin Smith, Sp Ed Administrator Terri Linton, Treasurer Jim McClaren and Board Secretary Linda Scott.

A motion was made by Brammeier and seconded by Diekemper to approve the Consent Agenda, as follows:
1. Minutes of the special board meeting on August 12, 2019, minutes of the special board meeting on September 23, 2019, minutes of the budget hearing on September 25, 2019 and minutes of the regular board meeting on September 25, 2019. 2. Bills for the month for October, 2019 in the following amounts:
Education - $ 199,038.85
Building - $ 32,438.18
Transportation - $ 33,121.87
Bond & Interest - $ 0.00
Site & Construction - $ 74,665.91
Tort - $ 837.50
Fire Prevention - 0.00
Total $ 340,102.31
3. Report of the School Treasurer for September, 2019 and place on file for the audit. 4. Report of the Activity Fund, Imprest Fund and Payroll/Benefits sheet for September, 2019.

BOARD RECOGNITION
Jay Wellen, coach for the 8th grade softball team, thanked the players and parents for a great season. He talked about the season this year and what a great group of students they have been. He then introduced each of the players. They placed 3rd in state this year.
ADMINISTRATOR REPORTS
Kerrick Rabm, Principal at CGS – Report is attached.
Bryan Rainey, Principal at CJHS - Report is attached.
Jered Weh, Principal at CHS - Report is attached.
Dustin Bilbruck, Superintendent, reported on the Illinois Report Card Data. The report will come out October 30th and he will report on this in the November meeting, but he did find out that our scores are commendable this year. This is above average scores.

5.1) UPDATE OF CARLYLE HIGH SCHOOL BUILDING PROJECT
Printouts of the HS building project were on the table in the library for anyone to look at. Bids are going out for the work and by next month hope to have everything finalized. Will have more updates next month.
6.1) EXECUTIVE SESSION
A motion was made by Alexander and seconded by Brammeier to move into Executive Session to discuss Personnel (Exception One)

5.2) APPROVE EMPLOYMENT OF STAFF
A motion was made by Brammeier and seconded by Alexander approve the employment of Rob Sainz as bus driver and Jayson Waughtel as JH Wrestling club coach. There was no discussion,
