Purpose of this Public Hearing- The purpose of this hearing is to discuss and consider the City’s proposed Downstate Small Business Development Program grant applications for economic development projects in the amount of $25,000 each to aid the following businesses: Fleming Cleaners and Marilyn’s Downtown Lounge The grant applications will be submitted around May 26, 2020, to the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, Office of Community Development.
