The Marion County Treasurer’s office will mail out 2020 Mobile Home Tax bills.

According to The Weekly, Marion County records reveal that 1,980 bills are being mailed this year. The records also indicate that the total tax amount is $179,520.18. The taxes are Mobile Homes Privilege Taxes. The payments will be due on Aug. 12, 2020.

According to an order given by the 4th Judicial District, residents entering the courthouse are advised to wear a face mask. The order states that this is mandatory when social distancing is not feasible.

Those entering the courthouse to make payments will be subject to a temperature check and possible health screening. As per county ordinance, a personal search will be conducted as well. Visitors to the courthouse must submit to all Health Department guidelines regarding the COVID-19 virus.

The treasurer’s office says to notify them if residents plan to pay mobile home taxes in person.
