PANA COMMUNITY HOSPITAL: PMG Welcomes Heather Beyers, FNP

Pana Community Hospital issued the following announcement on June 3.

Pana Medical Group is pleased to announce the addition of Heather Beyers as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Heather has joined physicians Dr. Deo Quizon, Dr. Dennis Yap, and Dr. Marlon Muneses as well as Tabitha Litz, FNP and Coleen Rakers, ANP. Heather will begin her training at PMG on June 22nd.

Heather has been working in the healthcare field for over 20 years and brings extensive experience to the position. Beyers graduated from St. John’s school of Nursing with a BSN in 2000. Following graduation, Beyers worked at St. John’s Hospital on the cardiac floor. She then transferred to Sarah Bush Lincoln Hospital and worked in the ICU and ER for five years. After working in the nursing field for several years, Beyers decided to go back to school and earned her MSN from SIUE in 2009. She specialized in family practice and became ANCC board certified. Upon graduation, Beyers worked for Memorial physician services in Springfield for the past 11 years.

“We are excited to welcome Heather to our practice,” stated Lori Ade, Practice Manager. “Heather brings a wealth of experience with her and we look forward to introducing her to our patients.”

Heather and her husband Jeff are both Pana natives and currently reside in Pana. They have four children; Cooper (7 years old), Bentley and Bristol (both 6 years old) and Charley (2 years old). "I am happy to be back in my hometown and look forward to serving the local community where I grew up," stated Beyers.
