Pana Community Hospital issued the following announcement on June 16.
Nichole McMillen, Family Nurse Practitioner will join the FastCare staff which is set to open Monday, June 29th. McMillen is a graduate of Pana High School and received her BSN from St. John’s College of Nursing in 2011. She received her Family Nurse Practitioner degree at SIU-E in 2016. She has experience working at St. John’s Hospital in the ICU as well as urgent care and family practice. Nichole and her husband Eric McMillen live in Pana and have a son, Brayden.
FastCare will also be staffed by Jayne Morrison, FNP from Ramsey, IL. “We are proud to open this walk-in clinic with two experienced Family Nurse Practitioners from our local area,” stated Trina Casner, President and CEO of Pana Community Hospital. “I am confident both Jayne and Nichole will offer the highest quality of care and compassion to our patients.” Other FastCare staff members will include a nurse and receptionist.
FastCare will offer convenient walk-in clinic services. Hours are: Monday-Friday 7:00 am-7:00 pm and Saturdays, Sundays and holidays 10:00 am-4:00 pm. (The clinic will be closed Christmas and Thanksgiving Day). FastCare offers healthcare services for those who do not have a primary care provider and offers services when other primary care providers’ offices may be closed. The entrance to FastCare shares an entrance with Pana Community Hospital’s Emergency Department. All patients will be screened before entering the clinic and asked to wear a mask upon entering.
