Pana Community Hospital issued the following announcement on June 30.
Community Medical Clinic's FastCare, offering convenient walk-in clinic services to Pana and the surrounding areas, is now open. Hospital officials want the public to know that the Emergency Department and CMC's FastCare share the same entrance.
“Upon entering, patients will be greeted by a receptionist, and can request to be seen in CMC's FastCare during its normal business hours,” stated Trina Casner, President and CEO of Pana Community Hospital. During the hours when CMC's FastCare is not open, those seeking treatment will be served in the Emergency Department.
“This service was added to help us better serve the needs of our patients,” stated Casner.
The walk-in clinic offers an advantage over other urgent care type clinics in that the clinic is adjacent to emergency care if needed. “The beauty about CMC's FastCare service is that if the patient requires emergency care, we are ready to respond quickly,” Casner explained.
CMC's FastCare hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00am-7:00pm and Saturday and Sunday 10:00 am-4:00 pm. The walk-in clinic will be open over the 4th of July holiday weekend.
