City of Carlinville City Council met April 6.

Here is the minutes provided by the council:

PRESENT: Alderman Brockmeier, Alderman Downey, Alderman Koller, Alderman Link, Alderman Ober, Alderman Oswald, Mayor Deanna Demuzio, City Attorney Dan O’Brien, City Clerk Carla Brockmeier, Police Chief Haley, Absent: Alderman Howard, McClain, City Treasurer/Budget Officer Reichmann, Zoning Administrator Steve Parr, Woodard & Curran Representative Dan Held

Approval of Previous Minutes - Motion was made by Alderman Link to approve minutes, seconded by Oswald, motion passed unanimously.

Approval of Bills - Motion made to approve bills by Alderman Koller, seconded by Ober, motion passed unanimously.

Correspondence

None

Public Comment

Mayor thanked our First Responders and essential employees in the water, sewer and street departments for their efforts during these trying times. No further public comment.

None

New Business

Ordinance Pertaining to Local State of Emergency – First Read/Motion was made by Alderman Ober, seconded by Koller to suspend the rules, motion passed unanimously. Motion was made to pass the ordinance by Alderman Oswald, seconded by Ober, motion passed unanimously.

Motion to adjourn was made by Alderman Downey at 7:13 p.m., seconded by Koller motion passed unanimously.
