2 Montgomery County residents in their thirties test positive for COVID-19 on July 7

Two Montgomery County residents in their thirties tested positive for COVID-19 on July 7, according to numbers being reported by the Illinois Department of Public Health.

In total, there have been 14 positive cases reported in Montgomery County among residents in their thirties, accounting for 25 percent of all cases in the county. Through July 7, Montgomery County has reported a total of 56 confirmed cases of the coronavirus, one of which has ended with the victim's death.

Illinois gathers all of their COVID-19 data from across the state electronically. The reported cases and deaths will fluctuate as additional info is gathered. Chicago was home to one of the first known cases of COVID-19 in the US, as well as it's transmission.
