Q4 2019 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Montgomery County?

There were 10 offenders released on parole during the fourth quarter of 2019 that live in Montgomery County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by South Central Reporter.

The data shows that six men and four women were released in Montgomery County. The median age of the parolees was 42. The youngest parolee was a 27-year-old woman sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2018, and the oldest was a 59-year-old man sentenced for a property crime in 2017.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Casey L. Buske. She was convicted of homicide in 2001 when she was 18 years old. She is now 37.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the fourth quarter of 2019 in each Montgomery County municipality with at least one parolee in the quarter.
