O'Kawville Fire Protection District responded to 10 calls in 2018 - 58.3 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Okawville included 10 fires - four structure fires, four vehicle fires and two other fires.

In all, the department saw $40,000 in fire loss - or about $4,000 per fire.

The O'Kawville Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $56,335 in 2018.
