Wheatfield Fire District responded to 11 calls in 2018 - 10 percent more than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Wheatfield included 10 fires - four structure fires, one vehicle fire and five other fires.

In all, the department saw $26,900 in fire loss - or about $2,690 per fire.

The department also received one false call.

The Wheatfield Fire District had an annual budget of $26,024 in 2018.
