Mt Auburn Fire Protection District responded to 12 calls in 2018 - 20 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Mt Auburn included 11 fires - four structure fires, one vehicle fire and six other fires.

In all, the department saw $290,500 in fire loss - or about $26,409 per fire.

The department also received one false call.
