City of St. Elmo City Board met Sept. 2.

Here is the minutes provided by the coard:

The City Council met in regular session at 6:00 p.m. at the American Legion with the following City Officials present: Mayor Ernie Myers,

Alderman Bob Wells, Sandra Mace, Kenneth Gammon, Rick Mills, and James Russell.

Also present was Clerk Rebecca Werner. Treasurer Mary Magnus was absent.

Pledge of Allegiance

Approval of Board Minutes

Motion #1) Moved by Sandra Mace and seconded by Kenneth Gammon to approve the August 5, 2020 Board Meeting minutes.

Approval of Treasurer's Report

Visitors: Kim Waltrip Baron Labor Day updates also handed out Labor Day pins.

Motion #2) Moved by Sandra Mace and seconded by JD Russell to approve purchasing a tapping tool from Midwest Meter Inc for the amount of 1,700.00.

Motion #7) Moved by Rick Mills and seconded by Kenneth Gammon to approve to approve ORDINANCE NO. 1041 "An Ordinance Amending Chapter 12, Division 3 of the City of St. Elmo, Fayette County, Illinois Municipal Code. (One-way street) " changing 10th St. from Elm St. to Olive St. a one-way street.
