PCH Welcomes Greg Pollman, DPT

Pana Community Hospital issued the following announcement on Sept. 30

Pana Community Hospital along with the Physical Therapy Department is pleased to welcome Greg Pollman, DPT to the Physical Therapy staff at PCH’s Rehab/Wellness Center. 

“Greg has over 20 years experience in the field and is an excellent addition to our physical therapy team of professionals.  He grew up near Pana and we are excited he has chosen to come back to his hometown to practice,” stated Mollie Beyers, DPT-Rehab Services Department Manager.     

Greg is a graduate of Pana High School in the class of 1989.  He received his BA in Physiology from SIU in Carbondale in 1993 and a Master in Physical Therapy in 1999 from the US Army/Baylor University.  In 2014, Greg received a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Montana, Missoula.  He worked for the US Army as a PT from 1999 until retirement in 2017.  Upon retirement from the Army, Greg worked at Hillsboro Area Hospital from 2017 until 2021.  Greg received his Orthopedic Clinical Specialist Certification (OCS) from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties.

“I chose Pana Community Hospital because this area is home!  The PT Department at the Rehab Wellness Center has friendly and experienced staff that provides quality care for the patients they serve and I am excited to be here,” stated Pollman.  Greg has been married to his wife Kristin for 27 years and has three daughters.
