Report: Nashville School District spent $11,024 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Nashville Community High School District 99 was down 4.8 percent from five years ago, according to the South Central Reporter analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Washington County school district spent $11,576 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $11,024 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 415 to 419 students over the same period.

Nashville's spending in 2019-20 was 23.9 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
