Report: Irvington School District spent $12,632 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Irvington Community Consolidated School District 11 was up 5.9 percent from five years ago, according to the South Central Reporter analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Washington County school district spent $11,931 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $12,632 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 58 to 53 students over the same period.

Irvington's spending in 2019-20 was 12.8 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
