I. Regular Meeting
A. Roll Call
The Board of Education of Wesclin Community School District # 3, Clinton and St. Clair Counties, Illinois, met in a regular session on Monday, the 15th day of November 2021, at the hour of 6:00 p.m., at the Wesclin High School in said district.

Minutes of the previous regular meeting and of the executive session of October 18, 2021 were approved on a motion by Matt Fridley seconded by Tina Litteken.

C. District Finances
Motion made by Tina Litteken seconded by Connie Elmore to approve The Treasurer's Report and payment of payroll in the amount of $809,697.46 and bills in the amount of $1,284,248.72.

Superintendent Report
Senior Citizen Luncheon is cancelled because of COVID. We will be discussing whether to have a drive through luncheon. We’re thinking of having a drive thru event with the band playing and handing out goody bags.
COVID Update – our numbers are going up at school but our close contacts are still low and 98% test to stay. The testing is going well. We also have our Vaccine clinic going on tonight.
Tax Rate Comparison – our tax rate is trending down over the past years.
Principals’ Report
WHS – Coach Weiss devotes a lot of time with the athletes, The sectional meet was a success with 300 runners. We received many positive comments from parents and officials on our event. Band participated in the Veteran’s Day parade. The Fall Play, Yearbook was phenomenal. Winter sports start on Tuesday.
NBE – Braylan Albers was the Student of the Month. Santa’s Cottage is in full swing. Ms. Accord is having the kindergarten class participate in an alphabet exchange letter program with participating school across the US
TE – The Veteran’s Day program was held last week. The 3rd graders lead the program.
Special Srvc – thank you to all staff that have helped our program. Everyone is pitching in to make this year go smoothly.

IV. Items Requiring Board of Education Action
Audit Report – There were no findings and it all balanced to what we expected. Our financial profile for Wesclin is in Warning for this year and probably next year also. We are spending more than what we are bringing in, in Transportation Fund for new buses and it causes our expenditures to look high.

C. Tax Levy Estimate and Notice of Intent to Adopt a Tax Levy over 105%
