March 2018: Home prices in Hillsboro increased

The median sale price of a home sold in March 2018 in Hillsboro rose by $49,680 while total sales decreased by 40%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In March 2018, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $132,000 - a 60.3% increase over the $82,320 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were five homes sold in Hillsboro in March 2017.

The median sales tax in Hillsboro for 2018 was $1,595. In 2017, the median sales tax was $1,698. This marks an decrease of 6.1%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.2%.
