1. A motion to accept the minutes from the July 7, 2022 meeting.
2. A motion to direct the City Clerk to transfer funds from the city sales tax to the City’s general fund to issue checks and authorize to pay the bills and process payroll. To be passed only at the first monthly City Council meeting.

1. Lake – Dave Hollo – A motion to approve an Ordinance establishing a 35 mile per hour speed limit for Yaeger Lake Trail, between Park Road and Lindenwood Drive, and to place signage upon the roadway.
2. Tourism – Marilyn Sisson – A motion to approve agreements in regard to the Great Rivers & Routes Tourism Bureau DCEO Route 66 grant for the placement of a mural and monument in Litchfield:
1) “Six on Illinois Route 66” Interactive Monument Legal Agreement
2) Indemnity/Hold Harmless Agreement with Litchfield National Bank
3. Economic Development – Ray Kellenberger – A motion to approve the proposal from Systemax for the I-55 Commerce Center Brand Development and Property Marketing Material for an amount not to exceed $6,840 and authorize the City Clerk to cut the checks for deposit and final payment.
4. Fire – Woodrow Street – A motion to approve the purchase of four (4) sets of Super Deluxe Armor Personal Protective Equipment, commonly referred to as Bunker Gear, for structural firefighting from Dinges Fire Company at a cost not to exceed $11,835.60 and authorize the City Clerk to issue a check upon satisfactory delivery.
5. Administration – Woodrow Street – A motion to approve an Ordinance Adopting the Food Truck License and Application for the City of Litchfield, Montgomery County, Illinois.
Executive Session
A Motion to Enter into Executive Session, as allowed under the Illinois Open Meetings Act, as found in Chapter 5 of the Illinois Compiled Statutes, Section 120, to address these certain and restricted items:
1. “The appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance or dismissal of specific employees of the public body…” (5ILCS 120/2(2)(C)(1).
2. “Collective negotiating matters between the public body and its employees or their representatives, or deliberations concerning salary schedules for one or more classes of employees.” (5ILCS 120/2(C)(2))
3. “The setting of a price for sale or lease of property owned by the public body.” (5ILCS 120/2(2)(6)
4. “Litigation, when an action against, affecting or on behalf of the particular public body has been filed and is pending before a court or administrative tribunal, or when the public body finds that an action is probable or imminent, in which case the basis for the finding shall be recorded and entered into the minutes of the closed meeting.” (5ILCS 120/2(2)(C)(11)
