City of Greenville City Council met Sept. 27.

Here is the agenda provided by the council:

1. OPEN PUBLIC MEETING

3. DISCUSSION OF: 

3.1. Buzzard Bay Renovation and Expansion of Phase 2 

See drawing. We are applying for an OSLAD grant for phase 2 so the  earliest that can happen is 2023. The other phases will follow as funds  are made available. 

Phase 1 – ADA fishing dock – budgeted for 2022, eliminate permanent  site and slip options – This phase has already begun! 

Phase 2 – Removal of site 8, Playground and pavilion on site 8 and  moving toward the lake, change gravel to concrete pads on sites 1-7,  add 4 concrete pad sites across from existing sites, add handicap site,  add sidewalk and handrail to ADA fishing dock, offer camping for a  minimum of 3 days, offer boat slips as available for day rental if still  open as of Friday (campers have first choice). 

Phase 3 – Add approximately 20 gravel RV sites with full hook ups plus  1 camp host site, add dump station, add two cabins, expanded parking  lot, add extension landscaping shield from road and one residential lot 

Phase 4 – Add beach subject to IDNR and health department, may need  to add break wall, add shower house.
