1. A motion to accept the minutes from the February 2, 2023 meeting. 2. A motion to direct the City Clerk to transfer funds from the city sales tax to the City’s general fund to issue checks and authorize to pay the bills and process payroll. To be passed only at the first monthly City Council meeting.

1. Economic Development – Ray Kellenberger – Lee Beckman, Engineer from Milano and Grunloh LLC to give an update on the Gas Line for the new Industrial Park (I-55 Commerce Center).
2. Economic Development – Ray Kellenberger – A motion to approve a proposal for services from Lipe Architecture for final design of a concession/restroom structure at the Route 66 Crossings Sport Complex Park, at a range of $5,760 to $8,640 and authorize the City Clerk to issue a check upon completion.
3. Wastewater Treatment – Dwayne Gerl – A motion to approve the purchase of one (1) Pulsar Ultrasonic level transmitter and installation provided by Durkin Equipment Company in the amount not to exceed $2,437.50 and authorize the City Clerk to issue a check.
Executive Session
A Motion to Enter into Executive Session, as allowed under the Illinois Open Meetings Act, as found in Chapter 5 of the Illinois Compiled Statutes, Section 120, to address these certain and restricted items:
1. “The appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance or dismissal of specific employees of the public body…” (5ILCS 120/2(2)(C)(1).
2. “Collective negotiating matters between the public body and its employees or their representatives, or deliberations concerning salary schedules for one or more classes of employees.” (5ILCS 120/2(C)(2))
3. “The setting of a price for sale or lease of property owned by the public body.” (5ILCS 120/2(2)(6)
4. “The purchase or lease of real property for the use of the public body, including meetings held for the purpose of discussing whether a particular parcel should be acquired.” (5ILCS 120/2(C)(5))
5. “Litigation, when an action against, affecting or on behalf of the particular public body has been filed and is pending before a court or administrative tribunal, or when the public body finds that an action is probable or imminent, in which case the basis for the finding shall be recorded and entered into the minutes of the closed meeting.” (5ILCS 120/2(2)(C)(11)
