1. A motion to accept the minutes from the March 2, 2023 meeting.

2. A motion to direct the City Clerk to transfer funds from the city sales tax to the City’s general fund to issue checks and authorize to pay the bills and process payroll. To be passed only at the first monthly City Council meeting.

New Business:

1. Finance/City Clerk – Dwayne Gerl - Audit presentation by Kemper & Associates, LLC with motion to accept the City of Litchfield Annual Audit for the year ending April 30, 2022.

2. Finance/City Clerk – Dwayne Gerl – Budget Workshop: Presentation by Jereme Zook on the proposed 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 City of Litchfield Budget.

3. Finance/City Clerk – Dwayne Gerl – A motion to approve the purchase of software and services from Civic Systems, LLC for $14,350 and authorize the Mayor to sign the agreement.

4. Lake – Dave Hollo – A motion to approve the purchase of aquatic play equipment from Commercial Recreation Specialists for the quoted amount of $28,810 and authorize the City Clerk to issue a check upon satisfactory delivery.

5. Lake – Dave Hollo – A motion to approve an eighth amendment to the operating agreement with Grand Rental for boat rental services at Lake Lou Yaeger.

6. Fire – Dave Hollo – A motion to approve the repair of Ladder Truck 803 by Mac’s Fire & Safety for an amount not to exceed $5,586.74 and authorize the City Clerk to issue a check upon satisfactory completion.

7. Building/Zoning/Planning – Ray Kellenberger – A motion to approve an Ordinance declaring one parcel at 908 N. Chestnut, pin #10-33-408-003 and two parcels at 303 S Grant, pin #15-05-231-014 and #15-05-231-015 as surplus properties.

Executive Session

A Motion to Enter into Executive Session, as allowed under the Illinois Open Meetings Act, as found in Chapter 5 of the Illinois Compiled Statutes, Section 120, to address these certain and restricted items:

“The appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance or dismissal of specific employees of the public body…” (5ILCS 120/2(2)(C)(1).
