Q4 2022 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Bond County?

There were six offenders living in Bond County released on parole during the fourth quarter of 2022, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by South Central Reporter.

The data shows five men and one woman were released in Bond County. The median age of the parolees was 30. The youngest parolee was a 21-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving one or more weapons in 2022, and the oldest was a 53-year-old man sentenced for a crime against a person in 2014.

The offender incarcerated the longest was Johnny R. Brown. He was convicted of a crime against a person in 2014 when he was 43 years old. He is now 53.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the fourth quarter of 2022 in each Bond County.
