1. A motion to accept the minutes from the August 3, 2023 meeting.

2. A motion to direct the City Clerk to transfer funds from the city sales tax to the City’s general fund to issue checks and authorize to pay the bills and process payroll. To be passed only at the first monthly City Council meeting.

New Business:

1. Building and Grounds – Sara Zumwalt – A motion to approve an Ordinance authorizing the execution of a commercial real estate option contract and commercial real estate sales contract for 1524 N. Madison.

2. Streets – Dwayne Gerl – A motion to approve a notice of municipal letting for a 2022 or 2023 heavy duty one ton truck F550-5500 19,500 GVWR with a stainless-steel dump body, snowplow and stainless-steel tail gate auger and spinner.

3. Streets – Dwayne Gerl – A motion to approve a notice of municipal letting for a 2022 or 2023 heavy duty F250-2500 pick-up truck 10,000 GVWR with service bed.

4. Lake – Dan Newkirk – A motion to allow controlled deer hunting within specified portion of the Lake Lou Yaeger Recreational Area for the purpose of maintaining healthy wildlife populations.

5. Lake – Dan Newkirk – A motion to approve the purchase of 200 cubic yards of engineered wood fiber from Stillwater Enterprises for a total of $4,680 and authorize the City Clerk to issue a check upon satisfactory delivery.

6. Economic Development – Ray Kellenberger – A motion to approve a Resolution of Financial Commitment for Illinois Safe Routes to School Grant Program – Cycle 2023.

7. Economic Development – Ray Kellenberger – A motion to approve a Resolution approving and authorizing the submittal of an application for an open space land acquisition and development grant.

8. Water – Jake Fleming – A motion to approve the purchase of a finished water chlorine analyzer from USA Bluebook or HF Scientific for up to $4,500 plus shipping cost.
