Nashville Consolidated Community School District 49 had the highest enrollment among Washington County districts, welcoming 547 students during the 2021-22 school year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 55% of them were girls, and 45% were boys.

Data also showed that the majority of students were white, making up 92.1% of the Nashville Consolidated Community School District 49's total enrollment.

Among the six districts in Washington County, West Washington County Community Unit School District 10 ranked second in enrollment numbers with 508 students, while Nashville Community High School District 99 welcomed 405 students and ranked third in the 2021-22 school year.
