Beckemeyer Elementary School had the highest enrollment among Montgomery County schools, welcoming 646 students during the 2021-22 school year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

Out of all the students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 50.8% of them were boys, and 49.2% were girls.

Data also showed that most of the students were white, representing 92% of the student body at Beckemeyer Elementary School.

Among the 16 schools in Montgomery County, Hillsboro High School ranked second in enrollment with 467 students, while Litchfield Senior High School welcomed 378 students to be ranked third in the 2021-22 school year.

Beckemeyer Elementary School is a part of Hillsboro Community Unit School District 3, which generally encompasses schools within Montgomery County with its main office in Hillsboro.

In the previous school year, Beckemeyer Elementary School had the highest number of students among Montgomery County schools.
