On Sunday, February 25, former Northwest High School standout Chris Frede’s current college team, the Blackburn Beavers, won 16-9 in their NCAA Division III game against the Wisconsin Lutheran Warriors.

The game took place in Pleasant Plains, Illinois. This was their first matchup against the Wisconsin Lutheran Warriors this season.

The Beavers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 3 at 12 p.m. in Carlinville, Illinois against Monmouth Fighting Scots.
