Appointments:

1. A motion to approve the following committee appointment:

Tourism Committee:

Dale Weidler - 3 year unexpired term of David Hershberger - May 2027

Other Business:

1. A motion to accept the minutes from the June 20, 2024 meeting.

2. A motion to direct the City Clerk to transfer funds from the city sales tax to the City’s general fund to issue checks and authorize to pay the bills and process payroll.

New Business:

1. Wastewater Treatment - Jake Fleming - A motion to approve the bid from Korte-Luitjohan to repair the Waste Water Treatment Facility (WWTF) administrations structure at the cost not to exceed $24,700.00.

2. Fire - Josh Hughes - A motion to authorize a resolution to purchase an Amkus-IS320 ION Spreader with extended reach tips and two batteries from Dinges Fire Company as the sole source provider of Amkus Rescue Tools.

3. Economic Development - Ray Kellenberger - A motion to approve a Resolution providing for a feasibility study on the designation of a portion of the City of Litchfield as a redevelopment project area and to induce development interests within such area; and authorizing expenditures in the course of planning and redevelopment, prior to the redevelopment project area being established, that may be reimbursable from future TIF proceeds.

4. Economic Development - Ray Kellenberger - A motion to approve an Ordinance approving and authorizing the Mayor to execute a facade improvement grant agreement with Michael & Crystal Rivali for façade improvements at 317 W. Union Ave., and other actions related thereto.

Executive Session

A Motion to Enter into Executive Session, as allowed under the Illinois Open Meetings Act, as found in Chapter 5 of the Illinois Compiled Statutes, Section 120, to address these certain and restricted items:

1. Discussion of minutes of meeting lawfully closed under this Act, whether for purposes of approval by the body of the minutes or semi-annual review of the minutes as mandated by Section 2.06. (5ILCS 120/2(2)(C)(21)

New Business:

1. A motion to approve the Executive Session minutes of the June 20, 2024 meeting.

2. A motion to approve a Resolution Regarding the Release of Executive Session Minutes.
