City of Litchfield City Council met Aug. 1.

Public Hearing

The City of Litchfield will hold a public hearing on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at 6:15 p.m. at Litchfield City Hall, 120 E. Ryder St., Litchfield, IL 62056 to discuss its intentions to construct Phases I and II of the Water Distribution System Improvements. This hearing will provide the public with the opportunity to present comments. Persons with disabilities or non-English speaking persons who wish to attend the public hearing and need assistance should contact Steve Dougherty, Mayor, City of Litchfield, 120 E. Ryder St. Litchfield, IL 62056, (217) 324-5253 no later than July 29, 2024. Every effort will be made to make reasonable accommodations for these persons.

2. Economic Development - Ray Kellenberger - A motion to approve an Ordinance approving and authorizing the Mayor to execute a development agreement for a project in TIF #3 with Midwest Aftermarket LLC for 407 W. Ryder Street and other actions related thereto.

3. Economic Development - Ray Kellenberger - A motion to approve an Ordinance setting the public hearing date for the establishment of a business district in Litchfield.
