The Special Council meeting was called to order on August 28, 2024 at 4:00 PM by Mayor George Barber.

1. ROLL CALL 

Council Present: Mayor George Barber, Council Member Ivan Estevez, Council Member Kyle Littlefield, Council Member Lisa Stephens, and

Council Member Blake Knox

Council Absent: 

Staff Present: Jo Hollenkamp, Jody Weiss, Bill Walker, Jeff Sinnett, Jason Heckman, Bryan Waugh, Jeff Ketten, Jim Sutton, Brad Iberg,

Michelle Liggett

Public Present: Jim Arndt

2. CITIZEN INPUT / COMMENTS ON ANY AGENDA ITEM OR OTHERWISE 3. CITY COUNCIL OR MAYOR COMMENTS 

4. MATTERS OF COUNCIL CONSIDERATION 

4.1. Consideration to open a separatae checking account for the Plaza Grant in order to separate grant funds from other funds.

Motion by Lisa Stephens, seconded by Kyle Littlefield, Motion to open a 

separatae checking account for the Plaza Grant in order to separate grant funds from other funds. 

RESULT: Carried

SECONDER: Kyle Littlefield

4.2. Strategic Planning Session with Jim Arndt

5. ADJOURNMENT 

Motion by Ivan Estevez, seconded by Kyle Littlefield, to adjourn the Special Council Meeting/Strategic Planning Session at 7:00 PM.
