The Sarah Bush Lincoln Fayette County Hospital (SBL FCH) has introduced new radiography and fluoroscopy imaging services. The facility now includes a GE Precision CRF Radiography and Fluoroscopy system, designed to offer low-dose imaging with high-quality results.
This addition allows SBL FCH staff to conduct various examinations for patients of all ages. Services include basic X-ray imaging as well as specialized fluoroscopy procedures such as upper GI studies, barium speech swallows, small bowel examinations, barium enema examinations, arthrograms in joints, and joint injections.
Rena Myers, the Imaging Services director at SBL FCH, highlighted the benefits of the new equipment: “This new GE Precision RF imaging unit will provide the community with more accessibility, dependability and comfortability for all people.”
Fluoroscopy services are available for individuals aged 12 and older. Appointments can be scheduled on Mondays and Fridays from 8 to 11 am.
