Macoupin County Board General Administrative Committee met Dec. 5.

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

I. CALL TO ORDER

PRESENT: Dunnagan, Stayton, Adden, Barr, Ibberson, Kilduff, Duncan

ABSENT: Kiel

II. AGENDA ITEMS

1. Mark Carpani - Abandoned House Issue

Duncan said he had emailed Carpani and Board Member Blank after Carpani has asked to be on the agenda but hadn't heard anything. The committee would revisit the issue if Carpani reached back out.

2. Approve Draft Agenda for December Full Board Meeting

Motion by Adden, seconded by Barr to approve the draft agenda with changes.

RESULT: APPROVED [UNANIMOUS] 

MOVER: Ross Adden, Board Member

SECONDER: Leann Barr, Member

AYES: Dunnagan, Stayton, Adden, Barr, Ibberson, Kilduff

ABSENT: Kiel

3. Non-Union Employee Time Sheets

Duncan said that he had not received a time sheet from Gerl yet, but that was partly his fault as he had not gotten her set up on PurelyHR until recently due to the election. He would include hers in next months for approval as well.

Motion by Stayton, seconded by Adden to approve the non-union time sheets.

RESULT: APPROVED [UNANIMOUS]

AYES: Dunnagan, Stayton, Adden, Barr, Ibberson, Kilduff

ABSENT: Kiel

4. Post Election Report - 2024 General Election

Duncan passed out a copy of the Post Election Report his office had prepared for the General Election. He mentioned they had added a few things compared to the Primary Report, including information on the retabulation they are required to do since many voters didn't seem aware the county does have a requirement to retabulated a certain percentage of precincts and early voting tabulators to make sure there are no discrepancies.

5. Report on Final Election Excellence Grant

Duncan passed out an accounting of the half million dollar grant his office had received from the Election Excellence program. The overwhelming majority of the money went towards the purchase and remodel of the Voting Center. Everyone agreed the Voting Center was a valuable addition for the county and voters.

III. ADJOURNMENT

Motion by Kilduff, seconded by Stayton to adjourn. All in favor. Motion carried.
