Northwestern Community Unit School District 2 welcomed 311 students in the 2022-23 school year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

This is a 4.6% decrease from the previous school year.

Northwestern Elementary School had the largest enrollment in the district with 174 students.

Northwestern Community Unit School District 2 roughly covers schools within Macoupin County and has a main office in Palmyra.
