HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital Breese's Auxiliary is preparing for its annual Used Book Fair and Bake Sale, scheduled from March 6 to March 8. The event will take place at the Knights of Columbus Hall located at 480 N. Walnut St., Breese.
The fair will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, with Saturday hours extending until 5 p.m. Admission fees apply only on the first day, March 6, with an initial charge of $6 from 10-11 a.m., followed by a reduced fee of $3 until closing. Entry is free for the remainder of the event.
Special pricing is planned for the last two days. On Friday afternoon and evening, everything will be offered at half price between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday features half-price sales from morning until early afternoon, transitioning to $3 fill-a-bags in late afternoon, and concluding with complimentary items during the final hour.
Bake sale goods are available exclusively on Friday starting at 10 a.m., continuing while supplies last.
Attendees can browse thousands of books across various categories including fiction, non-fiction, children's literature, cookbooks, puzzles, DVDs, CDs, among others.
