Salem Township Hospital will host a "Lunch & Learn" session on May 14, focusing on enhancing mental health and well-being for seniors. The event, titled "Aging with Confidence: Tips for Boosting Mental Health and Well-Being," will take place at noon at the First Christian Church in Salem, Illinois.
Mary Hammond, MS, LCPC, the Director of Senior Behavioral Health at Salem Township Hospital, will lead the presentation. Lunch, coffee, and dessert will be provided, and attendees are encouraged to RSVP by May 7 to ensure a meal.
Shelley Rose, BSN, RN, one of the outpatient care coordinators, noted, "Salem Township Hospital’s Outpatient Care Coordinators, Shelley Rose, BSN, RN and Gloria Hawkins, RN organize the free Lunch & Learn discussions every month to provide education to the public."
