Macoupin County Board Road and Bridge Committee met June 24.

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

Members Present: Bernie Kiel, Gordon Heuer, Ross Adden, Todd Armour, Leann Barr, Molly Rosentreter, and Tony Wiggins

Members Absent:

Officials and Department Heads Present: Tom Reinhart

1. Call to Order

1.1 Roll Call

The meeting was called to order at 5:28 p.m.

2. Executive Session

Motion made by Armour, seconded by Wiggins to resolve into Executive Session at 5:29 p.m. to conduct interviews.  All in favor.  Motion Carried.

Motion made by Armour, seconded by Rosentrater to arise from Executive Session at 7:30 p.m. p.m.

5.1 Mechanic Position

Motion to offer the fulltime mechanic position to Daniel Bublitz of Girard pending the passing of a pre-employment drug test and on condition Mr. Bublitz obtains a minimum of a Class B CDL with air brake endorsement before the end of his 90-day probationary period.
