All Mt. Olive CUSD5 staff! We had an amazing first week of school!
Jeff Grider and the entire custodial staff for getting the grounds and school ready for teachers and students.
Stephanie Carle and the kitchen staff for having delicious cinnamon rolls, fruit, and drinks on Opening day for the entire staff. Also for handling the first three school day lunch periods in the rooms with efficiency and patience!
Terry Swenson and the entire Transportation Department for being ready for our students on Day 1!
Karrie Scheller and Josh Martin for handling the opening week with ease!!!!
The secretaries for going above and beyond as usual.
Consider approving the bills and the financial report.

Consider a motion to give authority to Mr. Josh Martin, High School Principal; Ms. Karrie Scheller, K-8 Principal; and Ms. Stephanie Cann, Superintendent to suspend students as outlined in the Elementary and High school handbooks, Mt. Olive School Board Policy and Illinois School Code.

Consider a motion to enter Closed Session for the following purposes as allowed under the Illinois Open Meeting Act (5 ILCS 120/1 et seq.):
Discussion of the appointment, employment and dismissal of employees of the public body and collective negotiating matters between the public body and its employees or their representative.

The next regular board meeting will be at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. The meeting will be held in the library at 804 West Main Street, Mt. Olive, Illinois.
