PRESENT: Alderman Ober, Alderman Wagstaff, Alderman Brockmeier, Alderman Link, Alderman Reichmann, Alderman Gracey, Alderman LeVora, Mayor Doug Downey, City Clerk Mary Heller, Treasurer Bill Fanning, Police Chief Derek Graham, City Attorneys Don and Joe Craven, Don Taul representing Woodard & Curran, Absent: Alderman Reese.
Approval of Previous Minutes - Motion was made by Alderman Ober to approve the minutes, seconded by Alderman Wagstaff, motion passed unanimously. 7-0
Approval of Bills - Motion was made to approve the bills by Alderman Reichmann, seconded by Alderman LeVora, motion passed unanimously. 7-0
Correspondence
Macoupin County 50501 & Indivisible Cofounder and Organizer - Motion was made to send Tuesday night protesting dates through 2025 to IDOT for approval by Alderman Wagstaff, seconded by Alderman Ober, motion passed unanimously. 7-0
Public Comment
Ed Taylor from 202 E 1st North Street spoke about his thoughts on electric cars for the police department and his ideas on Solar for City Hall and how it would save the city money.

New Business
Don Taul updated the Council on the new Wastewater Treatment Plant, the Shein Tower, and the West Main Water Line Projects.
Open Sealed Bids for 516 Anderson - Motion was made to open Cathy Witt's bid for the property of 516 Anderson Street by Alderman Brockmeier, seconded by Alderman LeVora, motion passed unanimously. 7-0 Motion was made to accept Cathy Witt's bid of $6,000 for the property of 516 Anderson Street by Alderman Reichmann, seconded by Alderman Link, motion passed unanimously. 7-0
Bids for Sealing City Hall Parking Lot - Motion was made to accept the bid from DeLaurent Construction Co., INC. to seal city hall parking lot for $15,989.00 by Alderman Reichmann, seconded by Alderman Gracey, motion passed unanimously. 7-0
Motion was made by Alderman LeVora at 6:19 p.m. to go into executive session, seconded by Alderman Link, motion passed unanimously. 7-0
