Report: St. Rose spent $8,157 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at St. Rose School District 14-15 is up 0 percent from five years ago, according to a South Central Reporter analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Clinton County school district spent $8,121 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $8,157 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 168 to 160.

St. Rose's spending in 2016-17 was 37 percent lower than the state average of $12,973.
