School discipline: Which South Central Illinois districts reported the most tobacco-related suspensions?

Salem Community High School District 600, Mount Olive Community Unit School District 5 and Patoka Community Unit School District 100 were among those in Illinois that reported the highest rate of students suspended for reasons related to tobacco during the 2016-17 school year in South Central Illinois, according to the latest report from the Illinois State Board of Education.

In this analysis, the incident rate is calculated by dividing the number of incidents by district enrollment.
